Employment Requirements

To be considered for employment with Reithoffer Shows, all applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Identification & Social Security Card: Applicants must provide valid identification and a Social Security card in order to apply.
• Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Drug-Free Workplace: Reithoffer Shows is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace. The use, possession, distribution, sale, or manufacture of controlled substances or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Drug Testing: All applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and may be required to participate in random drug testing throughout their employment.
• Background Check: All applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check. As an outdoor amusement company, our employees work directly with the public, including children. For this reason, background checks are required for all employees. Depending on the state or local jurisdiction where we operate, background check information may also be required by city, county, or state authorities to comply with regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Dress Code: If hired, employees must comply with all company dress codes and appearance standards.
• Professional Conduct: All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and follow all Reithoffer Shows standards of conduct, policies, and procedures.
• Probationary Period: All new employees are hired on a probationary, trial basis for the first three months of employment. During this period, employment may be terminated at the discretion of Reithoffer Shows, subject to applicable law.

Driver Position Employment Requirements

Applicants for a full-time or part-time Driver position with Reithoffer Shows must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum Age & Driver’s License: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle they will operate:
  • Standard Driver’s License: Required for operating pickups, passenger cars, and other non-commercial vehicles.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Required for operating commercial vehicles, including straight trucks, tractors, and other vehicles requiring a CDL under applicable law.
• Identification & Social Security Number: Applicants must provide valid identification and a Social Security card/number, or be able to obtain a Social Security number as required for employment.
• Employment Documents: Applicants must be able to complete and sign all required employment, tax, and company documents.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & Background Check: Applicants must agree to and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check. Because Reithoffer Shows employees work directly with the public, including children, background checks are required for all employees. Depending on the state or local jurisdiction where we operate, background check information may also be required by city, county, or state authorities to comply with regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Drug-Free Workplace & Testing: Reithoffer Shows maintains a drug-free workplace. • Driver Responsibilities: Drivers must operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, maintain a valid license and any required endorsements, follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and comply with all Reithoffer Shows driving and safety procedures.
